Community Renewal Fund

From skating rinks to parking lots and playgrounds, recycled tire products can be used in any community space. That's why we've created the Community Renewal Fund! We want communities to think green when planning their community projects by using products made with recycled Ontario tires.

Community Renewal Fund

The Community Renewal Fund is a grant program that awards eligible Ontario-based communities and organizations up to $50,000 towards the purchase and installation of Ontario-manufactured recycled rubber products such as athletic and arena flooring, sidewalk pavers, rubber mulch and rubber pavers. Using recycled materials helps the environment while supporting Ontario’s economy.

To see more about the use and benefits of these products, and to get inspiration for your own project, click on any of the images below to read project Case Studies about past Grant recipients.

As a result of the Wind-Up of OTS and The Used Tires Program on December 31st, 2018, OTS is no longer awarding grants through our Community Renewal Fund program.
