OTS hosted group consultation sessions on Tuesday, May 7th and Thursday, May 9th to comply with the Minister’s Direction Letter and develop a Program approach and amendment to the Used Tires Program WUP to distribute surplus funds to tire consumers,

OTS TreadMarks System Transition Information Sessions

OTS hosted a series of information sessions for Producers and interested stakeholders on May 8th, 11th & 15th, 2018.  The sessions focused on OTS’ TreadMarks system and how it may be of use to obligated parties in meeting their tire diversion and reporting obligations under the Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Act (RRCEA) and the applicable Regulation(s).

OTS Amended Rules for Stewards Consultation

OTS hosted a consultation to review proposed changes to the Amended Rules for Stewards on February 26th, 2018.

OTS accepted comments and feedback until March 6, 2018.

RPRA General Fee Setting Policy Consultation

The Authority consulted on its draft General Fee Setting Policy, draft Fee Setting Methodology and draft Tire Fees Proposal between January 29 and March 19.

The Authority held in-person/webinar consultations on the proposed Plan on January 23, 2018. We also held a follow-up webinar consultation on January 29, 2018 where we provided a summary of the topics discussed during the consultation and answered additional questions.
