Earlier this month we had a royal visit – a visit to The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair that is. With no shortage of farm animals, butter sculptures and oversized vegetables and pumpkins, we were thrilled to add our own attractions to the mix at the annual Toronto-based event, which ran from November 4-13.

A team on a mission

Our RethinkTires team was onsite throughout the show with a booth where visitors could learn about recycling tires and the amazing products made from Ontario tire rubber that are designed for the home, as well as for the agricultural and farming community. It was hard to miss these smiling faces!

Beyond our booth, RethinkTires had presence throughout the show, including The Royal Winter Gallery. Here there was a mix of products from Multy Home, New Rubber Technologies, Eco-Flex and SofSurfaces to make an oasis in the middle of the show, which did not look a bit like tires. Just imagine what you could do to your backyard or patio space using the same materials.

Moo-ving on to agriculture

The cows were definitely a highlight. We witnessed as farmers groomed their cattle for the auction, with durable, long-lasting recycled rubber matting from Eco-Flex under hoof. In other areas, rubber matting from Animat was also used to offer another sturdy, comfortable flooring option.

Overall, it was great meeting so many wonderful people and fellow environmental enthusiasts who share our passion for greener options for both the home and for agricultural purposes.
